To prepare the Generation Next with required skill sets to meet the demand of ever evolving Industrial Domain and to develop an understanding of sustainability in the Industrial environment to be globally competent, Sardar Vallabhbhai Global University (SVGU) is established by the Government Gazette and Notification after it was passed in Gujarat Legislative Assembly. The Institute of Journalism and Communication (IJC) as a part of SVGU offers Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communication (BAMC) (Hons.)- 4 Year Degree Program, Master of Arts in Media and Communication (MAMC) - 2 Year Degree Program and Philosophy of Doctorate (PhD) in Media and Communication. All the academic programs (UG, PG and PhD) are designed as per the University Grants Commission (UGC) norms and guidelines of the New Education Policy 2020. Being established in the year 2019, IJC takes pride to announce that for the past five Academic Years (2019-2020, 2020-2021, 2021-2022, 2022-2023 and 2023-2024). Our students are among the top 10 rankers of Examinations at Gujarat University. The Institute is an exemplar of perfect blend of students of varied culture be it at the international level or different states at National level.
